Birmingham Trade Unionist And Socialist Coalition (TUSC) have announced that local activist Ted Woodley will be taking on the pro-cuts parties in Erdington this May. An activist in the RMT and Birmingham Socialist Party, Ted will be standing as an alternative to the four parties of big business – Labour, Tory, Liberal and UKIP – on a platform of no cuts to public services, defending the NHS and for a £10 and hour minimum wage.

Between now and May 7th, socialists will be delivering leaflets, holding street stalls and knocking doors across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
